I think AltiVerb is the best of all but it's only for mac,
http://www.audioease.com/Pages/Altiverb/AltiverbMain.html
i'm using the luna's masterverb which works on the dsp's and i'm really happy with it- better then most of the vst reverbs i tried,
regrading hardwarereverb i have the behringer virtualizer pro which have sure better reverb then any of the vst's i know and it's pretty cheap- anyway, i'd really like to know how do you route it through cubase mixer, tnx
  Space is the place

Try the waves R-1, it's also a convolution reverb like altiverb or spacedesigner... |

Go for Sir it's freeware but compareable with any other convolution verb's.Use the google search for the download link 'knufinke sir'.
U can get free impulses from 'noisevault'or echochamber.

The IR reverbs are the best if you have cpu-power to burn. If not, i'd go with the Waves Rverb to save some cpu-cycles |

I sometimes work with a low-cpu reverb during the creation process and then replace it with a more CPU intensive one when I bounce the final track. Best of both worlds.

IR-reverbs are only good with good IR-files. U can get the Altiverb IRs converted to wave files so u have almost same the quality with any IR-reverb.
I think another very good IR-reverb is the Voxengo Prestine Space.
I also started a topic some days ago about a site that is about convolution stuff featuring a libary of high quality IRs.

That's why they came with the light version. It takes about the same cpu as the RVerb.
Personally I'm not a fan of the RVerb, I rather use the IR for the critical stuff and the old TrueVerb for the rest.

I personnaly use RAYVERB and Sonic Timeworks and both work very good. But it seems that both take too much from Cpu. |
