I just got a bunch of new VST plugins, and I do not want to start installing random stuff...could anyone please name a couple of good-usefull(kick-bass-hihats..)to hepl me out?

as you are the one to use them, you should be judging wich one is good for you.
You can always remove the ones you don't like. Not a big problem really, is it?

If there could be just one.. you'd plug it into your head and it would makes presets from the sounds in your mind.
Not good for me, it's mostly just screams in there, but for most people this would be a winner. |

Gotta vote for Albino 3 as a workhorse lead/pad/fx synth. The only problem I find is the FM doesn't allow you to get truly tweaked out results... just 'scratchy' 'noisy' darkpsy style leads.
Been toying with FM8 and it seems pretty cool so far. But all NI products are like that with their fancy interfaces ... until you realize they're so convoluted and resource hungry that they're no longer fun to use. Still, so far it seems like it ought to be the standard for FM. |
