But assuming you're talking trance:
Son Kite, BLT, Cosma, Eat Static (though that one would have been better if one of the amps didn't burn through the set).
Always prefered good DJ sets in my parties, I must say.

we all know there isnt such thing as real "live" and yah i prefer dj set as well
only few artist have the talent to do really good live
smt that won't be just a repeat of their last cd in mix
and i know the artist themself prefer the dj set.
but the party organizers think it atracts more crowd to party when they say "x" is gonna play live.
reality is the weirdest dream |

ammm... i will ALWAYS remember tsuyushi in south africa back in 96.
it was the most powrfull, intense, mindblowing, amazing live i saw ever.
also will add to him eat static, sonic fusion and joujouka!

and dont even try to compare this to Infected Mushroom or any other psytrance bands.. relatively to this german band - no trance band is able to produce anything likely
just because the live shows isnt the best "part" of trance bands productions...

i forgot, i saw bumbling loons in edinburgh and they were awsome, and actually played very live as well as you could hear the odd mistake. |

son kite live @ samothraki 2002....joti sidhu was playing at the main stage and all of my friends were there...but I wanted to hear son kite, walked for that mile to get to the progressive floor....came up really close and crossed my hands...seb and marcus came up, looked at me and started to laugh...it was so funny  ....they completely blew me away...once again, thank you guys
that's what I call a live act!

some different lives i liked a most were - deep dive corp, star sound orchestra, son kite and bigwigs. pretty different music but all realy impressive.

S.U.N. Project live in some little town near hamburg back on christmas eve 99. Dont much like their stuff anymore but boy were they impressive live. Guitars, drum pads and all 3 members bouncing going mad. I still have matias' guitar pic from chatting to him that night - in my photo album forever. my mate got a drumstick when they threw them out at the end- not sure if he has kept it - hope so!
Infected live is always a special show. |
