I was just about to tell anyone that I released a new Track, but some people seem to have a problem with selfpromoting. Can anyone tell me what the problem is about selfpromotion? I think if an artist is looking for some feedback, or just is proud of his new Track, why couldent he tell his friends at the Forum... so anyway, who is intrested in my new Work :-) downloads ION GENERATOR at:

i think too that selfpromoting is a good thing 4 a forum like this.
artists @ mp3, ampcast,... have sometimes realy kewl tunes. u can t get them anywhere else, like "unreleased" ;-), this is the underground-sound, and how should you be informed about their noise if not through a forum ?
i agree that "famous"-artists shouldn t use this w3ay, but 4 the small-ones i appreciate it.

Selfpromoting is good because it makes us,the listeners,able to hear to new artists who might prove to be very talented.If you dont selfpromote then how in the heck are you supposed to become well known? |

If you read the last thread wrote by this quy attacking the self promoting, you could also see that he was the only one doing so. The majority here (and even more) support self promoting and understand its importance.
