hey there.
i was wondering whats going on this year in japan festivals speaking.
i will be in japan in july im comming from israel and i wanted to know if there is a good festival this year.

Hi micro,
There are many festivals in Japan in Summer.
Are you only here in July?
first 2 weeks of July are Rainy Season so I dont think there are too many festivals.
I know Sonic Traveler Magazine (Japanese / English) will have a story about 2007 Japan Summer Festivals in their April / May issue. You can contact them on info [at] sonictraveler.biz
or you can search this forum for postings on last year's festivals in July. I think it will be almost the same.  I hope you have a great experience in Japan! All the best!

Hi lior,
That's nice you are coming to Japan for a long time. I hope your Japan experience will give you power and energy in your life. It is a wonderful scene and Japanese Trance people are some of the best I have met anywhere in the world.
biggest and best festival?
interesting question because I dont always think biggest is best. but if you think this way then first couple that come to mind are Vision Quest (Israeli Party), Solstice and Mother - this may be your style?
But IMHO, I really think the best vibe in Japan scene is happenning with the more underground 300 - 500 people parties. Of these, I would recommend Earth Energy and Manas and Dat Mafia (if you like Suomisounds).
