Hi there....Im totally new at all this...is there anyone out there who would like to help me out? (Im useing FL)...I could really use a boost in the right direction.....up till now I've only done spinning but I have sooo many ideas that I dont see other artist producing so I've decided to get into the biz myself....any takers?

cubase working time for a full track - 30 hours
fruity working time for a full track - 20 hours
cubase making the mix- 5 hours
fruity making the mix- 10 hours
cubase vsti handling - 15 vsti
fruity vsti handlig - 25 vsti
exporting for performance saving - cubase 15 exports
fruity 5 exports
overall fruity saves you 35% of your time in bulssit and leave it for creation
and i was cubase user for 3 years and now im just using it for post production and live acts
music creation only in fruity
i agree only in the part that doesnt matter what you use only how you use it and the resoltes you give iff they are nice and audible i dont care where they made!!
fl works for me like cubase works for you and logic etc works for others

IMHO only functional advantage in cubase to fruity is the wave editor which is pretty awesome...everything else is done much faster/easier in fruity...
+ you need a vst sampler for cubase...
fruitys integrated sampler is like a dream.... havent tried multisampling though
and YES AUTOMATION!!!!! its prefect in fruity... LAST TWEAKED PARAMETER!!!!
its very furstrating in cubase to BROWSE parameters or record lillte tweak (remember to rec enable) and then reveal used automation .... i cant imagine why it has been made to be so damn complex |

Yes ..
having the same thing and question with a 2 good friends of myn (Great topic !) and i swear to god that i can hear the Fl from Km's .. ! No mater the quality .. And belive me im hearing artists & producers with an excellent works and super sound on that prog' (There is a cubase users that dont get this ..) . I truly think that fl is great but the true is that she dont have the power
that cubase can give (Use cubase and you will understand clearly that point for sure) . Fl studio 5 is much better then the 4 (I know all this storys of sesto sento was made 2 cds on - Fine ! So what ?) .
Cubase man .. (Sx 2.2) Try before buy !

the power exist only in the skills and ears of the artist i want get into the trip of having a war again use what you like !
@ cardinal-man thats a bit egoistic approach you have there you speak about cubase like its the only one here there are others besides fl and cubase and they are great to!
and fl has al the power you will ever need only thing you need is to discover it its the same with all apps!

Yes, furthermore carttel man u don't got the point of 'Try before buy'. It means u can try the software and if u like it u must, or should, buy it. U say cubase is best and so on, so u have tried it and get already ur picture.

Hey Orange my friend :-) ..
1 - When i thinking about .. Maybe y right , But cant get out of this feeling (To deep inside of me) But maybe .
2 - This topic is Fl/Cubase so i wrote only on them , Sure there is many good programs .
3 - Back to 1 cant be sure of that !
I can tell y that my feeling of the prog's powers give us (By hearing) never let me down
But yes .. Maybe my ears are fuckt-up :-)
