M-Audio and Echo cards have gotten good reviews. You can find them & many more reviewed at www.soundonsound.com
I bought an Echo Layla 3G based on SOS's review and in hindsight I can say their review was spot on.

I got a M-Audio - Delta 1010LT... I think its a really great card to start out with. Good prices, and good quality...
