Get used to headphones, unless you have a servant to help carry a decent pair of studio monitors around for you.

Headphones, I like to travel light.
Generally when making music on the go, I just focus on "writing the music" and leave the production side of things for when I go back to the studio.
Peace.

the one in your laptop + a good headphone.
a good headphone it still more enjoyable than loads of crappy speakers for mixing imo as you get the full bandwitch and flatter than even highend monitors in a not great room
one tip with mixing on headphone, mix a lot in mono and use a reference track.. your work can sound as good as when you re in the studio when you get used to it..i get some tunes from a friend, i have no idea when he make them in his studio or on the road with headphone .. |

Not much. Have heard them several times in 2 studios. They are pretty detailed. The freq range is limited, but they aren't meant to be the main monitors good for checking mids in nearfield.

these are Auratone copy ,gonna get one to check mix in mono and translation on small speaker but can t find a store that sell them not in pair ,if you see one...
i think it s a bit heavy for traveling .
you need xlr or trs jack.
these are supposed to be pretty good to start the mix and then finish on the main. |

Boris, bro, the price depends on where you are but they are cheap, about $200 a pair. Which arises the question to Pom, if they are that cheap, why get one?
The input is XLR / Jack combo.
