Ease up on the monk atiitude mate. There's nothing wrong with chating up a nice bird in a trance party. There are ways of chating up people, you can be an obnoxious c*nt, or you can approach a member of the opposite sex, in a nice way, even if you are in a club or a forest.
Music is supposed to bring people together, be that with a process that might involve getting some lovin' or simply having a few lauhgs, or just by the eye contact when you are tripping and exchaning the good vibes, without saying a word.
All of them ways are equally special and beautiful.
Sex is a natural beautiful thing, not some dirty deed...we are in the 21st century.

Also, LSD + loud psytrance + trippy decorations and visuals is pretty damn amazing, but unfortunately I'm the kind of person that feels very uncomfortable around strangers when I'm on acid, and I wish trance parties were an exception  Whenever I've tripped at a party of any kind, I always get this thing where everyone else's clothes look amazing and mine look like shit and I get embarrassed.
(of course, MDMA fixes that but some people have a problem with it for some reason  ) |

Haha. I've felt that a couple of times myself, not only clothes but everything in general about other people feels awesome. Thats the great delusion period in a trip where everybody , everything else other than the self feels & looks fantastic . Never rule out the possibility that someone else on acid would be thinking you are the most awesome trippiest thing at the party. Once the great delusion is over its all smooth sailing

I've been thinking for a while that the best way to do it is to take acid in the afternoon or early evening and then head to the party as soon as I'm past the peak and confident that I can handle myself (obviously not driving lol, I usually take the bus to parties that are in urban locations). Haven't had a chance to try it yet... was going to this past saturday but it's spring break so no one was around and I don't like doing psychedelics alone since that time I ended up lying down in my driveway at 4 AM yelling at imaginary police officers, having locked my keys in the computer science building
Was veeery lucky that
A) I woke up a friend who was an experienced tripper AND he happened to have the master keys to the apartments AND I had the moment of clarity to actually say that I was on acid instead of just assuming that he knew.
B) Some maintenance guy was working on the CS building a few hours later and let me in to get my jacket, wallet and keys out. It was a saturday morning and the building wouldn't be open until monday.

If the music is good and the DJ can lock me into a little journey then I am in my own little world. But sometimes the music is not so good and the DJ really not ready to be playing to a crowd.
Eye candy is good for those moments.
