There is a HUGE difference between the Real DAT mafia and all bullshit internet MP3 traders.
The original principe of DAT mafia-is hardly keeping the tracks.In the time when it was existing,there was very few good djs existed,and they had to be original,and have as much more usreleased tracks as possible to make a set individual.
Although in that time ( 1995-2000 ) there was no much internet downloads,CD releases,MSN,Skype and all this stories.The record sessions were long ( DAT is not CD)-but it was much more personal relations between the people on the scene,djs and musicians.
Now the music swap is more electronic feeling.Chic chak,CD ready for you,chick chak one for you back.
