yes i know it needs longer and perhaps more atmosphere added to it. i have lacked inspiration lately. i just switched to ableton. any input is appreciated. i have a lady here that can sing beautifully anything from country to opera i thought get her to do some long legato opera stuff into y condensor and use that like a pad throughout. Use part of it as a hook to keep bringing back. she's damn good she just wont get up here and she doesn't have any idea how to sing to it since its not country you know. i'm like tryin to get her to just sing a G lol but its hard for her unless she's following something "real" following a synth seems hard for her.           http://www.youtube.com/user/trawhi (tutorials)

Hi man, well if your lacking inspiration patience is key now i also lack inspiration at times but i do something like go for a walk just try to keep yourself busy for a while maybe have a good nights rest be with some friends and when your more chilled you should have fresh thoughts about making a song.

About the girl singing, maybe just get her to do some presentations EG,, ask her to say cool quotes as if she has the voice of a star ship enterprise lady the thing is you can use these words chop them up put a vocoder maybe flanger etc and make it sound more futuristic and delay and see what happens as things are being created you should get ideas for better vocals then you can ask your G friend to try those long notes you should then be able to add some effects too... As for ableton i really dont use it but if you need help try tom cosm
