Provided I would keep my macpro and software I have on it, I would rent a room and treat it acoustically (live and control room). The best monitors I can afford, a nice condenser high SPL mic, a couple of nice dynamic mics, a nice drum kit (preferably digital to trigger Superior Drummer). Extra things I would buy would be Omnisphere and x0x0b0x, a Seymour Duncan bridge pick up for my SG, and a USA Fender Precision bass. If I had money to spare, a Mesa Boogie and Fender amp/cab combo. Buy 100m of professional cable, Neutrik connectors and a soldering iron to make cables.
Peace out.

same as dh the room /acoutics/monitors
i have my basic setup covered with macbook pro/metric halo and lot of softwares but a mac pro would be welcome...
then i would get in a hearth beat what i planed to buy in the long run:
a hardware eq and bus comp (maybe the combo api 5500/2500 ) mostly for my mastering chain ,but still very usefull for work on sound libraries and when making music/mixing.
eventide and culture vulture for sound design/libraries and music/mixing.
