And no regular oscillators either?           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?

yea, imagine actually haveing to tweak variables with 2 hands...
Personally, I wish more synths would take on absynths envelope thinking..LFOs are a complete modulation relic.

What about envelopes?

They could make up quite a good portion of what lfo's do.

you can do many many things with midi and delay lines and granted you have enough oscs/polyphony...

detunes, choruses, flanges,, phases, filterings.... all you need is polyphony and delay lines really.

i m still trying to understand what is a low freq oscilator           ``We shall not cease from exploration - And the end of all our exploring - Will be to arrive where we started - And know the place for the first time.``

maybe im not 100% right but from my nord modular experience:
an oscilator with really low frequencies, that you can route to basicly anything (on a modular system), and its like doing really accurate knob tweaking, see it like when you choose a sine lfo, its like drawing on an automation channel on cubase, sine shapes in different sizes (depends on how you tweak the lfo, the amount is how deep it goes, and the rate is like the oscilator pitch, the higher the frequencies, the faster it goes).. its not like an effect, it comes before the parameter/module, and its instead of your fingers to do the desire tweaks (just like automation)... a modular synth is a great way to use lfo's in strange ways, you generaly dont see in most synths...

correct me if im wrong, cause i might be           myspace.com/megaka

In the practical sense, that pretty much sums it up.           You believe in the users?
Yeah, sure. If I don't have a user, then who wrote me?
