So.. I was wondering how I could create a lead like that..?
Is it filtering..? or Low Pass + High Pass..? just have no clue.. haha-_-..and also is there a specific name for this kind of lead?

majority is filtering- saw wave with fm is the base of the sound then band pass filter + high res... then you can apply any envelopes you want on the filter... also to get the movement there is a lfo attached to the filter cut off. add distortion + whatever fx you want and there you are!

this sould bring you quite where you want to go.
of couse you'll have to do some tweaks by your own.
the main difference between the tutorials lead and alienns lead is the that alienn has way more distortion and more complex envelopes.
