Radiohead - High and Dry

Thom York would be really handsome if he wasn't so fucking ugly.

I'm currently playing Aura Borealis by Ozric Tentacles on repeat. It's my favourite track by them and one of my all time favourites by anyone. Pure beauty in a soundwave.

Hrk - Love World (Ulrich Schnauss Remix)

I don't say this very often but... WOW!!!

What a brilliant track! This has to be one of the most beautiful and haunting tracks i've ever heard!

Ulrich Schnauss never ceases to amaze me!

Sultana Detrii - Ozric Tentacles. Gorgeous. I just love this album it has to be said. I keep coming back to it time and time again. Next track - Aura Borealis for about the millionth play. Can't wait.

The first version is the best one - complete with hypnotic Japanese vocals.

This will probably be very difficult to get hold of so you may have to resort to P2P or something...

I don't want to advocate IP theft but he's not gonna lose any money if you can't buy the damn thing.

His music is probably technically IDM (he releases on the City Centre Offices label) but yeah it's mostly ambient/chill - characterised by beautifully melancholic and haunting melodies. If i had to find a single fault with his music it would have to be that some of his tracks do 'go on' a bit... but with melodies this damn good i don't really mind.

There are some free old tracks on his site:

This one is probably my favourite there (also on the limited edition of 'Far Away Trains')...

http://www.rozet.net/downloads/00_us_suddenly.mp3

But i prefer his albums to most of these tracks... some aren't typical of his 'sound'.

A Strangely Isolated Place

Also check out the remix i mentioned... i'm sure you will like it, Rina... very ethereal and floaty!

Peace and linktastic stuff!
