What to do with my life...?

This was posted by me in the |until when| thread, but got no real reply yet, so I thought I'd make my own topic-

The one thing i'm scared of is that I will NOT get into the life permanently. For the past couple years the music has taken me over, putting me to sleep, waking me up, getting me through my day, making me anxious with new releases. But I am young, very young. I have yet to start college ( a couple months ). I live in America-by far the smallest psy-trance community and the hardest to get into if you're young.
I want to travel, stay somewhere, prefferably somewhere farther, where there is less penalizations and restrictions for holding festivals/"raves" (egh). The whole culture is just so far beyond anything that people here can even comprehend - the unity and love for one another, to put it bluntly one way. The people here, bluntly, are cold, caring just for their money and getting on work at 9 and off at 5. I want to work with the music - with the people... not for some lazy ass CEO who doesn't care one way or another what kind of life you live just to lower a pay. So I really don't know what to do.

Going to college, I have no idea what to do. I do not know if this will affect the outcome of the future of my life, but it will probably jump-start it. How will I ever gain standing ground overseas, to stay there? I hear San Fran has a good psy culture, but I don't like the states that much..I'd rather be away.
I just want to get a life in the music, and there is nothing for me here.

to do with my wife' ? (In this case i think i can

Hello man.
When you go to a party and you listen to good music sometimes that's all that matters... The company you have is not really a factor here...
This is an analogy, what I mean is that you can make the scene grow where you live.
Where I live, in Florianópolis/Brazil, we have a REALLY strong scene... Why?
Because my friends and I wanted to... and some others, of course.
The scene here was absolutely shitty till two years ago. We started making parties for 200 people and suddenly people started popping out of the blue ... There was one party when we had to give the following order to security "Do not let anyone else get in... We are completely full".
It took some time and some work... it demanded us t be really dedicated to it for some time (maybe 6 months only doing that), but it worked.
I bet you can make it work on where you live.
Also, if you only want to live from the music, you don't need no scene there.
Make your way thru production and get yourself good tracks done that you will suceed in that too.
Your success depends on you and no one else, you just need to insist on it for some time.

That actually was an option my one friend and I was thinking. Starting up a small little party for some random people, hoping they would like the nice vibes, hoping they would tell their friends, hoping they would do the same. It would be like a revolution if the psy-culture got big around here; I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where people listen to hip-hop and emo - music where people cry over broken relationships and crap.
That could be a road I should re-think... I just need to buy better turntables

(From 7-9 and a half) And then drums for 7 years
(11-18 And then i got to go to the armi so i didt
had the time to keep it up and let it go for more)
All this years till few years back i always wants to
do somthing with but you know .. Life .. No time
or what ever but at the same time when u are not
improved and embellished your hobbys you will
never be a professional and that is a fact . I stop
doing all and start my pension 2 years ago to
want i realy want (Im 37 in may - Soon ! Dont
forget the presents ppls 6/5) . Was a realy hard
work man .. Belive me .. Realy But today ive got
my own tracks (Vs artists and by my self) And with
a 4 hours non stop set (Only myn) Can u belive it ?
Well .. If you was asking me this question before
those 2 years or telling me my future i will say that
u are crazy .. But time , Time , Time , Time .. Is the
answer .. And lots of tolerance and patience .. This
is the only secret man .. Not more , Thats all ! I site
days and nights in my studio (Even now) 9-10-12
hour a day and stil yet i dont think im perffect (and
here is the point - Always be open to lorn , Dont
say i know) I lorn the cubase for 9 months and
then i go to school and took privates lessons when
i could . Only hard work and belive ..
I can tell you .. Dreams come true for who that
realy want it ! dont let your talent run away cause
no one give you that guarantee that u will get it
back in your next turn in to this planet at your next

Exactly!!
It just seems to me that you are still very young. Don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself. Just enjoy yourself and do whatever you feel is right for you!
Live the Moment, you miss it, thats it, it will never come back!!
You have a long long life ahead of you, you are better off making mistakes now and learning from them rather than making mistakes later on in your life.
