I could only say what i would do if i would be in your position.
Take a room, garage, any room or place you got that is over 20m2, invest in room treatment, basstraps, diffusers, or build them yourself it will be cheaper. do so that the room is NOT square. And get proper acoustics in it, i don't stop to repeat this enough on this forum, but this is the most important thing when it comes to making electronic music.
Basically do a real studio!
Once that is done with the rest of the money buy good monitors! dynaudio or similar and get a good sound card!
I would NEVER EVER buy any synth before i have what i wrote above covered.

+1 (apart of the monitors but that's a matter of taste)
,also the PMC Speakers that Colin OOOD posted a link to would be my final choice.Maybe 5 of them for a 5.1 area.Hope to get them next year.

yah, as far as i know a beta or at least alpha exists, but it is taking a long long long long time, a friend close to them told me there are still issues. i had the honor of being a beta tester and patch maker for the flexor 3 release, but have since a bit lost contact with adern.
i too would love it, even if it doesn't sound as good as on the cards, it would still be amazing.
this is not simple stuff to get right with the coding, especially with the dsp chips, with allocation of modules to different chips, and get everything to be phase perfect. maybe with native this isn't an issue but for sure there are other issues.

why would you recommend a hw synth, but say no to a dsp card? a hw synth is basically a dsp card with knobs. a synth can do one thing, be whatever it was designed to be.
a high-end card like a soniccore or uad can be many many things, at the highest of quality.
so people go about raving mad about a virus or a nord modular, and don't realize this nice "qaulity" is the dsp, and yes, it sounds in many cases better than native and provides high end tools.

You talk about digital hw synths like virus Ti but all other viruses are analog and got no DSP(Digital Sound Processor) card inside..
just to make this clear and not confusing beginners..

After some research here's a revised list;
Mopho 400US
Kick Lancet 350ish Euro
cheap used TRx0x 500ish-700ish
base-model Buchla 2000US ish
touch screen monitor 150US
interface with enough MIDI I/O for everything above
MIDI cables
Buchla patch cables
small SSD for Ableton, plugins, and tracks for djing 150US
rackmount Yamaha DXxxx or equivalent 30-100US
Akai MPK49 and LPD8
Korg nanoKONTROL
Im pretty sure all that would be just under 5000 euro. All prices from memory.
Then mostly-analog hardware would replace most of the softsynths in my live setup, and it would all be controlled basically the same with the same VSTi sequencers and Ableton

You can buy my DSI TETR4 if you want.
You would be contributing for a good cause as I plan to start a new label (for unlabeled psytrance) with its money!

I would be happy to but I wont be able to afford it in the near future... Ive got my eye on the Mopho as a great analog bass hardware, mainly for the live setup, and the price tag makes it realistic Im a broke ass synthesist software-bound for the foreseeable future, but I can dream...
