My understanding is that "arsim" is a hebrew word for the negative energy at a party, that often manifests in violence and other undesirable behaviour. It seems to be a big problem in the Israeli scene, at least according to the accounts on this forum. It's often used to refer to people who come to a party just to cause trouble. 
Please correct me if I'm wrong. |

arsim are people, usually people who are considered as a negative element. sort of like the footy fanatics, or, to an extent, british skinheads, as some people would refer to them. they like to dress up flashy, they usually like Melodic Psytrance with heaps of cheese on it (eyal Barkan, holyman, shidapu, Yahel) but generally speaking, they can be very nice oaks.

well, mostly true, but actually it could be called a racist remark, since arsim are usually called the people with a few features that usually can't be overseen, including dress, usually darker skin coulor (thus the prejudice) and mostly bad behaviour (when people think of arsim they usually think of fights, stealing, and loud mouths).
that's why when you see people here say there are a lot of arsim in parties, it usually means the party wasn't hush hush enough and a lot of bad people arrived (though they might just look the part but are really harmless, it still does something to the party feel i guess).
i could say more but anyway, i think this thread is in the wrong place
