no u seem not to be the same one - coz vegetal isn't an i*iot - so u must be a different person
but maybe me and vegetal are - coz we are both cool guys and real musicians |

Stability issues.
I bought the Virus TI Polar thinking I have a great synth AND soundcard in one buy. After about 2 months of frustration (lots of blue screens and rebooting) I wound up getting a soundcard to save my sanity.
$200 fixed everything.

Claudio.
Take couple of hours.
Go to a nice shop which holds all the 3 synths.
Play with them.
One of them will feel "right" under you hands, just like Harry Potter's wand (sorry, I've just finished the 7th book and am still in magic land ) for me it was a Virus Ti.
Pay the dude at the cashier.
Go home and have lots and lots of fun, who knows, some magic might happen too

fuzzikitten, i used to use my virus ti with my emu 1616m soundcard untill it went dead on me about 6 months ago, then i was forced to use the ti as my main sound card and i realized that this way its way better sound quality. i donno, maybe couse there is less cables and the ti is connected straight to the monitors, but for me everything works great. i dont have any crashes or blue screens or any of that. The Virus is great as a soundcard for me. Never had a problem. I dont plan on getting a new soundcard untill i can afford rme fireface 4 or 800 couse i think the Virus soundcard beats all the soundcards in the 200 dollar range, deffinetly better then the emu 1616m that i had that cost 500$. If i had to choose between those 3 synths i wouldnt even think twice about it and i would choose the Virus couse its all in one package. All you really need to have a sick professional sound. Also the virus is a great midi controler with the best feeling knobs. The virus control is sickkkk. There is no other synth that does that, and act like a vst in your sequencer. You get 16 parts so thats like having 16 viruses in one package.. Totally insane!!
Speaking of virus so much, fuzzi glad you are feeling better from the gain mind virus that got a hold of everybody.. My whole group of friends got it, but i was luckily spared even though my girlfriend had it for a week.. Crazzy stuff |

Partzi Floch,
never thought i'd say this but: i live in Romania and here the only place where i can find a nord and a virus ( the third defently out of the question ) is 600 KM from here.
but i'll give it a shot and go there to try them. i know sometimes personal touch can be deceiving due to the lack of experience, and since i don't have it, i decided to ask for opinions here. thank you, finally i'll go and check them out thou 90% i'll take a virus ti polar |

I had a nord modular once but sold it.........filter were week and the envelopes attack clicked too much..................I would never buy a synth like the TI where it trys to do too many things.........best be good at one........the integration spiel is a false economy. |
