first, im sorry if this not fit to this section.. dontknow where to post...
i released track on the last Ajuca Production compoilation {http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/aju/aju1cd005.html} and I was supposed to get the money 1 month after the releas date {Jun. 2005}.
in the end of July I joined to the army and I barely at home..
and he didnt answer me when i msg him last week and even week before, and I also email him..
nothing...
im not opened this theard to blame anyone.. just want attention and help..

Its not the first time i read about artists who have been tricked by a label...
Well i wish you good luck in getting what you deserve for.
Advice for the future: Do not sign with crapy labels. |

A school example in how a label again get it all wrong. You never and I repeat never just give the money to the one part in a project with two or more people involved.
You send each person involved in the track a royalty statement showing the excact salefigues and the amount to be paid to each member plus the overall amount owed to the band/artist(s). And then you send/transfer/wire each person their royalty share when you have recieved an invoice from the artist(s). See that's how a professional label would do it.
When will labels in our scene ever learn even basic things?
And to the artists. Stop being so naive. You can also improve things drastically by actually use a little time going through the contracts and get things totally straight between you and the label before you sign the contract. It's naive to think a label have your address, bank account etc. etc. if you haven't given it to the label. And if you dont get a statment every 6 months + 90 days then do as I do. Make the label aware of that they actually signed their own contract. That usually help 
And without an invoice from you the labels cant pay out the royalities to you 
oh and if the label dont respond well then never release with that label again. Our scene dont need labels that go into the dark every time they have to face the artists around payday! |

Hum...i think handa its completely right!!
People need to take carefull and learn to bring their rights. And the formal way to bring it, its signing a contract, specially because it will certify the negociation, and if the other part dont pay, you have the Law on your side.
People, talk with a lawyer always before negociation, he is the most qualify professional to warn you at these cases!!!
