Can somone please tell me if this sounds okay? I'm obviously not good at this, but I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what needs to be corrected with this. I don't have monitors, just a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphones and I'm using TB Isone as a headphone monitor. I can't seem to make a simple kick and bass correctly.
bass seem to be clicking because of lack of fade in / out. kick's attack is too sharp.
hard to say what is 'sounds correctly' in this case. if it works with other sounds in the track then i can say it sounds correctly. if it doesn't sounds good together with other sounds - then it needs more tuning. simple.
as long as you don't put anything else with this kick and bass in the mix it is irrelevant to say if it is good.
