or well.. why did it become "tip world" instead of "tip" ?

If I'm not mistaken it was cause TIP got bankrupted. As they could not reopen the label under the same name, they decided to open it under "TIP World".

Again, this is what I understood. I may be wrong.

I agree with Ravergirl. That's what I read. Tip faced failance. So they become Tip World. Good label.

R: It was about 10 years ago in '89. We started this group called The Infinity Project and that was how the initial started for TIP.

TIP records was started by Raja Ram and Graham Wood (what about Ian st Paul and Richard Bloor?) in 1994. By 1998 got into economic trouble - and TIP was ressurected as TIP World.

Basicly that's upon the surface - you can share the underground dirt behind.
