Ah... the most important questions...

I got a question too though... How difficult is it to find work? I usually do lot of clerical work, but I don't think I'd be able to do that there as I know no Swedish...

Part of the reason why I am coming out to visit is to find a decent country to move to in a few years... I'm a little bit over the States for a bit and am looking for a different shade of green in my pastures...

Im pretty sure you could get a job as an english teacher at some schools

It's practically impossible to find a job in Sweden, and it doesn't seem to matter if you have education or experience either. Our government (social communists) have broken down the country totally.           Ut ameris, amabilis esto.

mubali, as i understand it, it's rather easy in the us to move to another state and find a job there, that's not the case in europe (we don't have a culture of moving around much)
not knowing the local language is certainly a major handicap if you want a decent job and finding work often isn't easy even if you're a local
maybe the situation is better in north europe though, not sure (i think the situation is better britain as well, and norway has so much oil money they'll prolly pay you just to get rid of excess cash )
generally, you really need to be a well educated worker, with skills that are in shortage, to find a job easily (happen to have a degree in plumbing perhaps? )

Nothing is impossible, just that most sweedes are way to lazy and choose to live on the welfare system...

Örebro is a strange city for sure, with some strange fuckin' people. Here's a good example that was in the newspaper lately (and from what I've heard, they even joked about it on the tonight-show with Jay Leno).

A dude from örebro donated sperm to a lesbian couple by insemination , which after some time produced three sons. Suddenly the happy couple decided to split, and the one lady that gave birth to the kids decided to sue the donator for alimony, which actually suceeded. So for being kind and donating, this poor dude get's 18 years of payments. *lol*

Lucky me.. I'm not that kind.. helping hand??? Fuck you!!

Man, youve got it all wrong. The way to do it, as all smart (and less smart, too) swedes do, is working in Norway, where the wages are quite a bit hugher than in sweden, and live in sweden. That way they make alot of money without contributing to the Norwegian marked! Damn them... Watch out for these, they often disguise (or...?) as semi-gay bartenders or coffee-shop workers, dressing tight jeans and pink piquiet-shirts.

Even tough we Norwegians have all these people travelling just over the border and filling their cares up with food tobacco etc. because stuff is much cheaper in sweden than Norway... they are often referred to as "harry-handlere"
