What's on your checklist for orginizing a party??

So, Iv'e been involved with helping out some party orginizers in South Africa, and England, mostly doing the decor. Currently I'm living in the middle of nowhere in the USA, and with great potential here, me and my friends are starting a party orginization.
I was wondering if all you experienced lot don't wanne give me a rough checklist of what you need for a party, indoor or outdoor, one night or festival.
I've got the basics down, I was just wondering off anything critical needed.

the very first critical point: have a powerful crystal clear soundsystem. there is a very interesting topic here that discusses this issue:

second, what's equally important too, IMO is the musical evolution of your party. i like it when it starts soft and uplifting, moving onto twisted night time stuff, flowing into psy full on and finishing off with crispy progessive. this covers the diversity of the main styles and offers for every taste something. but this is just my taste.
everything else should come out of your creative minds, your intuition for beauty, and simple common sense. just some critical points that can affect the outcome of your party in a positive way:
- a lovely magical mystical breath-taking dream location
- uv-decoration (strings, colorful rugs, selfmade trippy shroomz, mechanical moving objects etc.)
- make sure the ground you party on is legimitate, meaning that at no point you gotta be scared that the cops might arrive any moment (it's the worse if they do and stop the music for good at the best time)
- a team of good, trustful, and loyal helpers and supporters. i just want to add that you will see who are your real friend at the end when it comes down to clean the place (especially the toilets  )
- speaking of toilets: i think it's necessary to have at least one toilet somewhere, girls will thank it for sure.
- it's maybe a good idea as well to have a bar with water(!!), non-alcoholic drinks like fruit juice, and some beer and spirits
umm, voilà i think that covers the real basics for a medium sized one night party. unfortunately you can't really control or predict the weather, but what ever happens, go with the flow and create something magical  party people will recognize your efforts

yeah, basiclly the basics is already orginized, like sound, dj's, artists, VJ, and reliable venue , its gonna be indoor.
do you guys have any more secrets??

i don't know that much about usa legislation, but from the sporadic info's i can hear, there are often absurd and dangerous situations, so as nygma said be sure not doing anything that might give you law troubles, and remember any one can read the postings in the forums (maybe someone already had bad experiences coz he forgot it) ;-)

well, since you're one of the first psy promoters in the mid US, be aware of the image you giving psy trance there. after all, you're pioneers of an underground movement and this will affect the people listening to your music.
i am writing this, because here in swiss we got three different lanuage parts (german, french, italian), each got a different understanding and musical taste on how psytrance is supposed to be. it's a bit weird, but.... that's how it is.
and yea, zafer is right, take care how you present psy trance to the cops. big brother is watchin you
