Hello everybody!!! I was making noize when someone suggested me, to use reverb in my leads and noizes, they said that will make the sound be a part of the song.So I went to the mother of all treaths fx. but the post is down. So Im making a new one (dont be mad=) I feel that the revebrs that I have sound really sinthetic. (not real enough) some sound kind of plastic or like a white noize or something-
So my question is what is the best reverb plugin(not fisical) that you could recomend. Im working in cuebase.(I heard of some golden rays and I want to make them too. lol jk)=0) |

For drums and group tracks - RoomVerb
For single leads - RoomVerb or TrueVerb
For live instruments or voice - AltiVerb or RoomVerb

I just use the ones that come with Cubase 5, the new reverence reverb is especially nice. Outside of cubase I think Artsacoustic or CSR reverbs sound very nice, oh and wizoo verb is great too.

sick topic!
i was wondering also about reverb. havent really used it but im trying to understand things.
how do u go about seeing if you need a plate reverb on this specific lead for example?
what about drums? which preset do u always start with to tweak?
each element for fullon for example sounds the same through out so what im asking for example fullon, what presets for which part of a track do you use?
Drums?
Leads?
FX?
hihats?
do we put a reverb on the kick and bass combo or its not good?

for cheaper / free reverbs i like
Verbiage:

there's something abotu Verbiage which is wonderful, it has this lovely metallic density. i tend to use it most for medium-length verbs with plenty of presence. it's not about lovely ephemeral floaty organic spaces, but it's great for thick full strong sounds.
Ambience

this can use lots of CPU if you're on an older machine, but it has a quality knob you can turn up when rendering. i like it for big long epic spacey verbs.
