Actually I reckon it's a desktop module that'll be the minibrute + total integration with Arturia's software. A small analog TI.
This is based on discussions at Gearslutz but kinda makes sense. Would be very tempting depending on price, as the Minibrute is about the only synth I've tested in the under $1k market worth buying IMO (I tried the Bass Station II at my mates studio last night, it was like a plastic toy & the sound weren't any better than the Bass Station vst IMO).
I was planning to get either the minibrute or sub Phatty this weekend but will wait 'til the 25th

Someone has to compete with the Volcas! I applaude these initiatives by the companies. Everyone should be able own an analog synth.

I reckon it's a great way to get kids/teenagers early in to synthesis.
As a teenager I wanted a proper synth but back in the 90's they were to expensive. It's great to see an full analogue synths that's affordable for today's youth. We might start getting some good music again in the future.

http://www.sonicstate.com/news/2013/10/24/arturia-microbrute-exclusive-review/
this is a shit hot wee product,
steiner filter,
multi wave shapping osc,
can also be used to bring up other Synths to modular level
and a fucking sequencer
if you got a dopefer dark energy or some other
small modular setup this is a must,
a lot of synth for the price of a eurorack module
plus it sound real analog not the thin attempt at the new breed
thou i think they fucked up not giving the osc waveforms individual outputs,
but a drill and some soldering would sort that out °°°ACTS 4:12°°°° |

lovely ting. Awesome with that patchbay and good sounding device at all imo. Makes me even more curious than the minibrute. Interesting, need to test it. Probably the best you can get for that money.
