interesting theory by spazz indeed. I was hoping for a more technical definition, like what are the frequency spectrum, time scales of the different sounds... ?

not the sounds itself, the way the sounds are used, the concept.
this is why a so called "trance" -track could have less to do with trance as a very hypnotic and touching track from another genre. but at the end everyone will have his own definition. |

the kick bass structure and tempo makes trance trance. when songs have a different kick bass structure ppl call it something else
