and what IM is doing today got tons of soul right..give me a brake dude.
this is a world of money and everybody is after money.some people are for less money and some for alot.if you think that artists make music JUST for fun you are wrong and naeive.
by the way-its strange that the "money music" with all the brakes and lifts-makes together in a year less then what IM can do in 2-3 shows.

this is exactly my point..
I am not naive. I know most of the artists make music for the money and the point is that u can HEAR it in the music. no soul today.
IM music today has no soul. BUT, its still good music for my opinion they have nice show some cool trax ..

what i take money for is for OTHERS to use my music commercially. (releases live gigs etc)
i believe money comes with success , if you want it or not once you will have 50 gigs a year your price will be up for sure.

Awesome selection and just a drop in the bucket really. Everybody who saw what Psycho did to people on the dancefloor back in the day knows their real power. People went bananas when that sample kicked in.
i think it was psycho and baby killer that pulled me further into electronic sound,it was the first touch and i will never forget those moments.

I must say I love the videos in this thread,reminds me really what psytrance stands for .Comparing to the new shit of this times this is still music from heart and soul you can enjoy and mentally fly high and not pain in the ass like the most of those important wanna be killer kids of today.

Although i've nearly completely stopped listening to psy trance from 2 to 3 yrs now but B.P.Empire for me is 1 of the highlights of my psy trance listening days! & this
my favorite tracks!!
& to put a finger on their uniqueness for me it's really their Innovation musically & technically.the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!

tsabi i didnt say that i started to make music for money..of corse it began as a hoby.
the fact is that today i make music for a living.i used to be a cook and now im a full time musician.so yes i make music also for the money.for sure i make it also for fun but i cant buy things with just fun..by the way if you say you do it JUST for fun-you shouldnt take money for gigs and trax you sell ect'.now if you do that then ill belive you that you make music just for fun..
and on topic-i used to like IM but for me i cant dance to this music.i like the raw power i like the brakes the lifts and the other things that i just dont find in IM music.its a matter of taste.

happy to hear you can afford to quit day job to focus on music
but we have to (dis)agree about charging for gigs and releases..
as much i do it for fun im not a whore
i might play for free - if im in a party that doesnt charge entrance as well if im happen to be there with my music , if i go specially out of my way and my work (i.e losing money) so the least i want a fair compensation.

tsabi-its not that i can aford it to much its just that i made a disision to make music as my main thing in life.for now im ok..i dont make tons of money but i work and thats good.
one month from now im gonna have a baby and then i dont know if i can hold on without another job.we'll see what happens;)
