I've always found them to be psytrance that you actually listen to. I just sit down with some IM and listen to a song, following every detail. And yet aI always seem to heard new little details.
So much psytrance I listen I just find boring. There are 10 minute tracks and hardly progress beyond what you hear in the first 4 minutes. Almost all of it is great basslines with nothing but bleeps and bloops over top. There is never any chord progression or song development.
To me IM has always seemed more like actually music than trance/club stuff. I listen to IM the same I way I listen to Pink Floyd or Tchaikovsky.
As for hallucinogen. I always thought it sounded good but I can't listen to more than one or two songs from twisted without getting just plain sick of it. It is too much 'psychedelic" and not enough music. All bleeps and scretches.

i never connected to their sound ,maybe cause it sound more like actual music like you said and it s not what i m looking for into psytrance and on top of that there is duvdev ...

I listened him in 95 too but I liked x-dream ,etnica ,sheyba,cosmosis and thousands of other names more.
I won't forget his name probably but that is it.I know the tunes in and out man,this is not timeless for me.I love music and there is soo much more hehe
I find it completely exxagareted and funny - 99,9% of all the psytrance people of nowadays are seeing him as absolute god or sth I have his vinyls as well but I overheard it a decade ago.Id love to hear sth new though.
But he is not making any psytrance for ages.
Shpongle is not psytrance and as an intense consument of ambient music I prefer other more ,not that it is bad but I overheard shpongle too (maybe 5 years ago) and I like ambience more than samba beats etc.And infected was maybe the fathers of harder if not even dark trance ,they were before the most of you here and they are still there.
This is what I mean.
I do not interest in any charts,the only charts that count for me was always my personal.
The most impressive about Hallucingoen is his name,and his image- and tracks like space pussy were nice.
But I'm not a monotonic robot head,real timeless music is more sth like pink floyd to me maybe.
Well,maybe I hear psyrance too long .However.
I was always wondering why there is not that much appriciation about Cosmosis as it is for Hallucinogen.
but well however however.Life is short,I generally am not a fan more a lover of music in my life.

Duvdev was there even before Erez afaik.He and Shiva Jörg made some great tunes on shiva space technology.I've bought some great tunes back than cosmic goa trance with tablas and ethnic spirit of a it faster kind in those days.
I won't join any club of any hating.Espescialy not against real pioneers.

Actually Infected Mushroom sold shitload more than pretty much every other Psy Artist out there. Perhaps even more than Juno Reactor.

Acid killer is indeed a killer without any crazy & boring today's 'lifts' and the most important - it doesnt directed to the dance floor like 99% of the trance today..

Infected had great times for sure. They were responsible for the best psy trax of this scene.

shame on us the non IM members tring to make people dance to our boring lifts and brakes..infact i think from now on every psytrance producer should try make trance like IM-for home listening,with less kik and bass and more changings melodies that you cant follow and dwell on cos they are over in 10 seconds..

Thing is, even if infected release a 100% hard rock album or whatever, they would still fill every club the play at, and still 20 people would complaine they aren't psy in this forum, for another 5 years. Like actually there is a problem?
duvdev might sing bad, but so does 99% of the pop scene artists. Yet he deliver lots of energy to the crowed and a great show, wich is what IM is all about nowdays basicly, a big show.
