There are some killer artists coming out of the land down under, some of my fav darkpsy boys are from Australia.Good productions too, check out alkaloid productions.

i think you'll find a good balance between the music being produced and the labels here. I'd say we have a lot of progressive coming out but that's not to say it is the dominate sound here. we have a lot more labels these days and each brings their own style..so , id say we have whatever you're after =) |

Guys like Legohead and Mr Peculiar are right up there with the best producers in the world right now and this has always been the same in Australia. Consistently good music, very innovative and as has been mentioned, a great range from guys like Sensient and Sun Control Species to Fractal Glider - no-one being dictated or forced into the same hum drum you get out of Europe...(UK artists aside) |
