I just DJ, dont produce. My O.C.D would never let me finish a track, so I've just avoided even starting that personal hell.
but as a DJ
I play :
Morning Full On (both intelligent or clubby depending on event and scene)
Twilight
Progressive
Electro
Minimal
and i pride myself on being one of the smoothest and slickest mixers in the US scene
favorite slot depends on the show and where its at, but typically i love 8am Sunday morning
Logical Light Music - SF
Straylight Productions -SF
Sound/Mind - Denver
Xcience - Midwest
I write brunchtime trance, and hence, prefer to play between the hours of breakfast and lunch, preferably whilst the crowd is enjoying some eggs benedict.
some people will try to fool you into thinking it's some made up genre called "dubstep", but that's just because THEY DON'T GET IT.

I prefer screaming and chainsaws in the trance I listen to.

lol.
my true style of music is the stuff that makes you dizzy and perhaps feels like either the chunk of earth you are stomping on is about to break off and blast through the cosmos, and or feels like a space ship is docking...and unicorns mostly.

Down, GyPsy-boy... DJ's can post as well. Im basically interested in the array of styles we have here
Thanks for the responses.. I feel like i know you lot personally now. Group hug?
We seem to have a pretty diverse group here.. so much so that we could set up a whole party with you bunch..
My favourite time of the party is between 5am and 10am.. The hard, fast, dark psy leading into that bouncy full on stuff.
Okay so Im not a producer OR DJ.. but im gonna add my 2c...
Here is my favourite track of all time:
Although my favourite artist/style would DEFINITELY be Terranoise.
hehe, yeah, both carl and I are ex-metal heads, glad you caught the reference.
so far we have 2 tunes finished, 1 at 160bpm, another at 150, and the 3rd in-process one is 155. nothing like being consistently inconsistent.
send me your new stuff scott, i would like to check out what you've been working on for the last 12 months.
