Yes but it's Synthesizer and Sampler rocks, it doesn't support VST and that's a major mistake and it's sequencer to tell you the truth is quite dodgy.
But in Reason 2 you should get some really nice new tools like the Malstrom Granular Synth, it sounds really wicked.
Forgot to mention Simsynth which is nice warm analog synth. Very recommended for Moog lovers.

Pentagon 1, Waldorf PPG Wave 2.0, NI pro-52, NI pro-five, Junglist - All very good soft-synths, but the best is FM7! no dout in my mind...
