Hello everybody,
I'm new one in this lovely forum, it took me a lot of time of searching to find it
well, I changed my style of music producing (HipHop music) to (Psytrance-Progressive), and I want to know more about how YOU are producing/composing music, wish sequencer is the best (for Psytrance composer/producer)?
Peace.

Everyone has their own preference but any of the following will have all you need to make good quality music:

CakeWalk Sonar Producer
Steinberg Cubase SX
MOTU Digital Performer
Apple Logic
Ableton Live
Fruity Loops Studio
(Probably a few missing in this list but these are the major ones)

They each have advantages and disadvantages. You just have to find out what best suits your workflow, technical expertise and wallet.

I didn't include ProTools because it kind of sucks as a composition tool (but is great for other things).

Nuendo is left out because IMO it is (financial) overkill for producing music that doesn't have to be synced to video. SX should cover all your needs if you choose the Steinberg path.

I also didn't include the "all in one" smaller packages like Reason, Orion, Project 5 etc because although they can be very cool, I would personaly use them as an add-on to one of the "bigger" sequencers. But these packages might be a good place to start for beginners.

I use fruity and i used cubase in addition but then i got sonar in my hands and it is much better IMO then cubase in combination with fruity

And i agree with UnderTow, u make the killer track, the sequencer is just a tool.
