My favourite band was DEATH and I'm still listening metal bands when I have the right mood like Paradise Lost , Pantera , Manowar
Everytime I have a discussion about metal and trance my opinion is that the the best trancers are the exmetalheads:)

Firsrt of all it was:Black sabbath,AC/DC,Motorhead then it was :Metallica,megadeth and Slayer and at the end it was:Ministry,suicidal tendencies,nine inch nails and white zombie.

and what the hell happened to all of you slayer and sepultura and the other aggresive funs and now you have turned into 'progressive' ? 
anyway i dont like metal a lot, but from the metal bands spultura and slayer. and some denmark guys ( i dunno the band) but they re great (and unique). Its a blend of metal and some psy bleeps and various rythms.. if i have to put a label on their sound i guess twisted metal should do...

Back in the days 95% of my listenings was electronic ...with exception on Sepultura ! I love Sepultura till now,,,soulfly better....also SYSTEM OF A DOWN RULES ...just got the new album  !

blind guardian , in flames , nevermore
system of a down ,slipknot,korn
lot of great tunes
i'm still listen to them not as often as before but still ..yeah why not @//?

When I was metalas (me elastiko panteloni parakalo)I liked much IRON MAIDEN,AC-DC,MANOWAR,METALLICA,KREATOR,DEATH,SEPULTURA,SODOM,PESTILENCE,MORBID ANGEL SLAYER,BLACK SABBATH,PARADOX...and the list goes on...
and not only metal dont forget PUNK,HARDCORE,ROCK,GOTHIC,GRIND,GARAGE...
the metal track that initiated me in heavy metal was at 1985 "two minutes to midnight"from IRON MAIDEN and I listen it from a cassete of "hits 85" it was the only one metal song on that double cassete,hihi...before 21 years parakalw(hihi eimai palia karavana o kargiolhs)
