Scientifically defined trance is a special form of a dissociated mental state. Lighter trances one experiences in everyday life, for example when reading a book, when day-dreaming, during sex or watching TV. Deeper trances are more goal oriented. One concentrates the attention upon a point, thoughts begin to repeat and eventually the mind spaces out. Trance arises from mental repetion or "loops". Meditation, hypnosis and mystical experiences are more complex forms of trance. Typically during trance critical mental processes such as judgement, will-power, awareness of the body and time are switched off. Whoever learns to use trance properly, however, sets free enormous creativity and power. Trance music helps well in this. The loops are created by the repetitive beat. Consciously co-ordinated dance movements transpose, through listening and dancing, into instinctive free movement. AGREE???

i am very happy to see that at least one person undastandz..
- most people think that its all about shaking yo ass to the beat so someone likes its shape and movement so you can get banged behind the speakaz (like dogz and a few people i've seen in the past do)..
actually.. i think that for that you can stick with disco.. (no offense to disco muzik intended)
- the repetitive beats are there to tune your soul body and mind so you can step up into a higher state of conciousness and undastand whats going on behind or over theze beats, the enviroment, the humanz, the universe.. thus you learn sth more and the more you know the closer you get to being divine..
- of course you can just dance to sth you like (but dont undastand), get smashed (by extensive drug or alcohol consumption) and finaly get some for the night and go home..
well.. i suppoze free will iz one of the basic human rights within the universe..
otherz evolve like the arpegiatorz.. and otherz get cought within the beat-loops..
this iz my humble opinion on the matter..
