Why not? I get for my daily job 30$ a day for working 7 hours (not hard job), when i can produce shit track for any shit label in three days and get 200$ minimum and after a while get 500$ and more for DJ sets around the globe.
This is the point money, that's why so many Israelis do that, because it is much easier to make cheap psytrack than work on normal job or study.
Man without good spirit, right but man with good spirit doing music for themselfs and i don't see much of them in here at all, while some of money producers sometimes create intresting music.

It all depends on how much music is important to you after all if money is more important well then do like all the fuckin rest and continue making a shit music at least you get the money! But as for me i give sacrifice, i work make money to live from other things and for now i dig deeper into music and deeper in myself man, i do not care about the money i care about the psychedelic feeling, i live for this feeling that we used to have! Fuck the money man! this is much bigger than money!

I dont think you understood me. Classical music did also meet it's wall of "commercialism" in the old days. People like Mozart was furios about it. Mozart him self wanted to make advanced music with multible notes and layers. But his king said that "No Mozart, you have to make easier music, the human ear cant hear that many notes. The human ear isnt that advanced. Make music that all humans can enjoy, your .. music.. is .. to.. innovating.. and.. advanced." .. In other words make pop music, make music that is easely digested. But of cource, now 200 years later, people still listen to Classical. It's not that psytrance is going to be forgotten. First it will reach the peak, become commerciolized, then after a while it will go back to it's shell and become "underground" again. Almost as our universe. "And the whole thing starts again"  .. But these days (exept samples used by different artists. Is Classical realy "pop"? .. No, a few people, and older for that matter love Classical. You dont see beethoven on the "Top of the pops". But you wount find Astrix there eighter. So whats my point?

Ganjagil, i'm with you. I do what i want in music but how other ppl will know about me if labels reject to release this music?
BECAUSE most of CROWD request speed, loop and cheesy melody !

Willy do you really think that if you make really good music no label in this big world will release your music???? Man there is a big market out there and surely there is a market for underground stuff also plus people will get to know you only through your music not through a lot of bullshit  This is special because you will make something for people who appreciate it not just for a party, how many people in a psytrance festival really know what this frequency of life is? not many i assure you really not many! Man there is either one way or another and if you really love music and you really are trance there is only one way!

BUT WHAT FOR?, since large labels wish to release music that usually ppl love in order to sell more copies, while any music for thinking requires more than wish to dance and enjoy.
Understand simple thing, most of human who listen to music have no idea about music creation, have no taste and if it only led by media or definition of high standart musical wise. They just want to come and dance, loop, cheap melody, once in a while new kind of melody, quick. Labels see that and release/print/press whatever.
Why would i waste my time, talent and money(equipment) on something that won't give any income as physically(money) or mentally(fame) to satisfy group of freaks who understand in music, or think they do?
These days it is quite pointless to create well-made music (in matter we speak of), because everything overused and almost nothing new coming out or impress THE TRUE LISTENERS, who i'm doubt are right in their choice.

Ok, now we get close to the point. So if you do it for love, maybe you should do it so more ppl can listen to it so everybody should see your love and not the chosen freaks?
Maybe first you need to be somewhere in scene in order to make what you like to?

I think first you work on a music that is better feeling than anybody else and then all comes automatically! As for drugs it's obvious that Trance is one with halucinogenic drugs, what people think about this i do not care really but it's the plain reality we love psy and we love to trip heavily, it is made for this and we like it like that! No need to be straight at all for me even though if i am straight i still dance and feel the music the same but with drugs you go man! You have a mental trip! Come on...

nowdays trance had became like hardcore techno sometimes
if we like it or not we have to accept that kind of evolution,some of us who met trance at the begining 90s(goa) dont like it much now as fullon or dark,other who meet the music nowdays like it as they follow the fashion mainstream...so What is this...this is that...

I actually went to a small psy party after a loooong while and even though I had good time, I didn't feel quite the same vibe that I used to feel in the past. I guess it has to do with some people over there who lack spirituality of the thing and concentrate mostly on other things. On the dance floor, on the other hand, I experienced very positive feeling and there were few very nice sets being played and I could sense share joy from some dancers over there, which naturally lifts the spirit. Because of my own reasons I didn't really mingle much with the people (I feel a bit sorry for that). But still in the end, the feeling that I experienced after a long time on the dance floor was very positive and I'm sure I will start to go to parties more often again.
Ganjagil, word man, count me in if you find a way to make this scene more like it used to be. Or are we just some old stubborn relics who are reluctant to accept the scene as it is today. I'm also sure that there are still many people in the scene who yearn after more spiritual trance experience.

I am happy that i am not alone now i will work with even more hearth to make a change in this scene. It is obvious that trance will recover because trance is not just music it is so much more, it will never die because of our intense love of this feeling! Trance is going to be back soon i am sure i can feel it. Fuck the ego's let's make what we like let's make the togetherness we had before and even better!
