What is the virus 'A' missing ?

just wanted to find out what the virus 'A' doesn't have compared to the 'B' and 'C' .... i know the difference between the B and C, but what doesn't the A have ? does the 'A' have a ring modulator ? ... does it have the bitcrusher ? (i really want that bitcrushing/downsampling effect) ... i think the effects are not as good/not as many but that doesn't matter that much (i can bounce into logic for effects or use hardware) but what i want to know is will the 'A' give the same sounds as the 'B' or is it just incabable of some of the 'B's sounds ?
p.s. i did a search but everything talks about the B and C (cos the A is so old)

virus a has less performance, means less simulatnious sounds...
and what is also important for me. In B and C you can have up to 1024 sounds, 256 of them as usersounds (the rest can also be changed with a bit more effort)
Virus A has only 256...
and more thing that you will find in the comparison..
DA converters are bader... not all B and C sounds run on the A

Subconsciousmind how do you change those user presets that you are referring to? I have a virus B with about 7 banks, 5 of which cant be changed?If its not too difficult and long I would be very interested to know.

Hi
You can write the content of banks A and/or B into one of the bank C to H
You can only write the whole ban a and/or b in one go into one of the upper banks.....
to do this you.. dammed.. don't remember...
wait I have to get the virus...
..
ok got it.. was still in my bag..
press multi.. you are in multi mode..
press ctrl.. you are in ctrl mode (ctrl light is on)
press parameter (bank) + till you can read "store to flash" on your display
with value +/- you can now choose if what you want to do A->C , A->D... etc..
press store to do the action...
Its a nice thing. I have my former bank A, which I used for my album and will not change anymore, saved in bank C:.
so i can freak out in my banks A and B and always know for sure that my sounds on bank C will be there an can not be changed anymore (except overwritten completely)
I love virus... the rest of the upper banks i filled with some nicer presets which I got from the www.access-music.de website...
