Rabbit in the Moon - Out of Body Experience
Bob Marley - No Woman No Cry
and this last one totally betrays my video game loving past:
Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger ending themes, composed by Nobuo Uematsu and Yasunori Mitsuda, respectively. |

THE Requiem... Each note hits like a hammer. Mozart is considered THE musical genius for a reason you know.
Four Tet's remix to Aphex Twin's track from SAW2 (on Warp Records 10+3 compilation) is probably the most touching electronic track for me.

World of Apples - The Cows at Jodrell Bank
It's Ewan Pearson, also known as Maas ...
Unfortunately it's only on a 12" on Giant 45 label
called The Days are So Packed, from 2000
(must put this on a compilation!)
The track Aubade is amazing too and a big favorite
with chillout Djs (it has a girl saying "can't sleep...
didn't sleep" throughout)

Thanks plisk. I agree with you too on Infinite Emanation. He's such a talented and unique musician. It's exciting that his new album Fusion will be coming out soon. A couple more strong tracks of his I remembered:
Drift - Arc-en-ciel (Original version)
Ekko - Ebb/Esho Funi (mainly 2 minutes in and beyond. Maybe that's the Esho Funi part)
And some more songs from other artists:
Shpongle - Flute Fruit
Woob - Amoeba
Makyo - Ghost Echoes
The Future Sound of London - Osho
Underworld - EssGee
Prem Joshua - Lahore Connection (especially Toires' Aquatic Mix on his upcoming remix album, Majmar)
Jairamji - Mother Tongue
Karsh Kale - Milan
Karsh Kale - Letting Go
Karsh Kale - Epic (mainly before the beat)
Foxglove - Part of You
Kid Loco & Talvin Singh - Traveller (Once Upon a Time in the East Mix)
