what is the meaning of twisted music?

I saw in many topics people speaking about twisted music but I'd love to have some examples and if its possible to know the meaning or concept of the word inside of the psy-trance music?

i generally use the term to describe something thats either incredibly evil/ dark (but in a kind of tongue in cheek sort of way) or something incredibly psychedelic

yeah, don't consider it a genre per say. it's more to describe certain music than anything else. At least that I know of.

I usualy use the term for when I hear something in a track that makes me go" WTF? how the hell the helld did he do that?" or when it really gets the energy and adrenalin pumping.
Not many tracks do this for me any more but a lotof th eolder stuff by Hallucinogen, GNotR, Space Cat, Tandu/Pig in Space, Phreaky - "Tornado" are very few examples from my past.

People will describe all kinds of psy as twisted..it isn't really genre/subgenre related. It seems like a bit of a filler word for people that don't really know how to describe a track or part or a track.

atonal chords, detuned arpeggios and melodies, weird transitions from a melody to another, "organic" type sounds fucked up with some good effects and the hole arrangement of the track plus the atmosphere on the background can produce a twisted feeling and image imo no matter style, its the feeling that matters and the story of the song

the meaning is to freak out....
....this scene.....i dont know....may be i just have another paranoid state right now in this beautiful dark night....but....there are actually so few freaked out people out there. very few...too limited number...insufficient...this has always been the main virtue of the trance scene for me....the freaking out....
it is so sad....actually...the world is fucked...it really is....
