what is the difference between cubase sl and cubase sx ???

which one is more suitable for music production ???

SL is the cut down version.

So, the obvious answer is that SX is "better", but you'd have to look at the feature list on the steinberg site, find out exactly what features have been removed or limitations added to SL, to see if there is anything you would desperately miss.
