they both have advantages. i use cubase and fruity both, fruity to process small samples, cubase for everything else. i find fruity very unhandy sometimes...automating sucks in there and i hate calculating (delays). but its neat if you have to do something small quickly

i personally think fruity isint that bad after all , they way ppl talk about it ...
i was just using fl studio @ 48k yesterday and it sounded soo awsome ... i personally think fruity loops is fuckin fast very very very user friendly ..
i think ppl just need to spend some more time with fruity loops and it definately can give good sound ... only major fuck up with fruity is tht ... the mixer is very unprofessional imo ...
y only 4 send tracks ? in sx or n2 u can have as many as u want ....
this is thr 1st thing i want changed in the fruity mixer ... and second is that it should be clibrated better for level readings ...
as fas as quality of the sound goes .... if both programs run realtime @ 32 bit float resolution , mathematically there shouldnt be any difference ...
i think the difference is more psychological than mathematical !! |

Where is the logic my man , first you say there is not 24bit support , then you say both programs run realtime 32bit float and then you ask me how to run Floops on 24bit .
For effects 24bit mode is available when rendering , it is called HQ (means fx will use the highest settings) , When you load 24bit sample into Fruity it stays 24bit untill rendering or inserting on it FX with 16bit only .
Things that able to work on 24bit work on it without any spetial button as Cubase has , only new in version of Floops somehow real time processing was limited with interpolation . |

in fruity delays the delay times are not shown in bars i think, and i dont like that.
and about the automation: its a matter of taste of course, but imho it sucks.

Yeah, there are still some bugs in the FL version 5.
And answering Alak, you could always go to the Knob you automated, right-click it and choose "edit events". |
