c´'mon bros this again?

i respect everyone that can make good music on either fruity loops or cubase or their own bare hands and a stick, but obviously cubase is a much better audio midi seqquencer than fruity..

Whatsup! well.. i was working with FL Studio.. and i get some good stuff on it.. but.. its true that you need sounds more "professional" that kind of mastering of your tracks on FL do it with Cubase SX or Logic Audio. but in a started time.. it's good that you play with FL, the next step is learn Cubase/Logic!

Much ppl says that FL sux, FL blah blah, for me, thats fine "except" the quality of sound. Use the soft that u consider the best.. the thing important on it is the TRACK that you do with your brain and a lot of ideas =).

If somebody is a master on Cubase SX2 and have some time to teach me how to make stuff on it i will be happy! (i know the basics of cubase and FL i have 100% of knowledge, i think jeje)

Listen man...

There is a lot of options to work with both of the progs as I do.
You can Rewire FL to your cubase or you can
record you FL job as a regular audio channel in your Cubase.

Cubase can be a great tool for the mastering of your FL made track, and this is a good
way to learn the basics of cubase!
To make a whole track just in Cubase is very
hard.

I have friends who released CDs already under several labels in Israel and 80% of
their work is made in FL so it can be a very
proffesional software if you learn it good!

Peace..

I have used FLStudio & Reason...I ***LOVE** Fruity Loops...I think Reason is ok if you want to sound like everyone else...I haven't yet used cubase, but I intend to at some point...FL is by far the easiest, most intuitive software currently available. & it supports most of the same VST's as cubase. I have yet to use it with hardware, but I will be soon, so we'll see how that goes.           :::Bom:::

Dj Looper , Cubase is much more advanced sequencer than Fruity Loops but it doesn't mean you can't produce good music on FL alone . There is no real problem to use Cubase or Fruity , FL have just user freindly interface when Cubase don't .

LOL . Every forum the same . For sure there are some real Fruity Loops experts because some of them don't know about 24bit resolution in Fruity and some used it when it wasn't released yet when others never made any sound simple check or compare features of both programms .

Somehow i think the Spindrift is the clearest mind here . Since all Fruity Loops disadvantages in sound or sequencing maybe limit you somewhere but not limit enough to not to get good product .

I want some serious guys with knowledge that would like to test Fruity with Cubase . Would be very intresting i guess .

For those who believe that Reason is more sound wise than Fruity .

FL, Cubase, Logic, Reason...
if you know what you're doing, using your brain - you can produce good music with Notepad or Photoshop!
amateur is not the right word here i think, amateur can be the producer.

and limits make your brain to work more, and invent some new ways while using your imagination.

about the sound not sure, so perhaps something better, something worse but not in huge levels, you also can guide the soft you using to better sound while another person can get bad sound on other soft that seems to be as better one.

my evolution sequence: Impulse Tracker > ModPlug Tracker > FL > Sonar > Orion > Cubase >< FL back to fruity cause of easier brainstorming, quick idea transfer, flexibility, lower cpu use (and my pc is quite slow now), but again i'm rotating between FL and Cubase, due to mood, cpu, project etc.

they both have advantages. i use cubase and fruity both, fruity to process small samples, cubase for everything else. i find fruity very unhandy sometimes...automating sucks in there and i hate calculating (delays). but its neat if you have to do something small quickly

I work pretty much as Anak and in my opinion
it's a good way.
I wanna say that Cubase can master the sound
so good you won't believe it's even made in
Fruity loops.

But Fruity loops sucks when it comes to audio
hardware. If you own a good synth then Cubase
is your only decent resolution!

Peace..

How about Samplitude 7 or Sonar 4 or even Logic 5.5? (And Digital Performer on the Mac). Just to add some confusion.
