like u can see in around 10 other topics here everyone has a diffrent favorite. U should read those threds and check out the ones mentioned there and try for ur self, cuz its ur taste that counts, innit?

I like the noise sounds from vanguard for that, but as you should have read already when you DID use the search function, you can do that with almost every synth (with noise, pitch env, filter env, lfos etc..)

depends what You mean by "sound effects".. but try Omnisphere. It is one of the coolest vst instruments around for weird s..t and atmospheres imo.
