yeah, when making psytrance, it really helps to have a kil-aaargh machine, since psytrance tends to have so many sounds, etc...

Correct me if im wrong but someone told me that
Cubase sx3 might have some issues with dual core Mainly all the process of cubase will be going through one core and wont recognize the other one 0_0 so out of let say 2Ghz it will be
using only half
is it true or false?
Im in a middle of buying my laptop now and im simply curious

Just got the Dell Precision M90:
Simply put - the best music workstation I have ever worked on.
Also runs Cubase stable at 3ms with on-board sound card and ASIO4All. |

hey there dudes! i was thinking, the thing is ... this year the masivization of the dual channel and big cached cpus pushed the emergin of the first laptops / notebooks that can seriously compete with a desktop rig....
from now on and in the future i expect less and less limitations in performance =) the audio software gets heavier all the time also, but it will never develop as fast as the hardware does
=) Cheers

motu cards work well with mac too
  Nocturnal Wizardz Recs
Bhooteshwara Records
Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life,craving for more. |
