havent used Cronox2 that much....
The track on my myspace has V-station in it as bass... and im not totaly happy with that one but it have to work for this track, i tried many different...
i like also Muon Tau for dark bass.. but you have to make very short notes.. like 64th... i dont remember how muon tau pro was.. cant remember..

any quality saw wave.. doesn't really matter what synth it is as long as it has good filters and envelopes.. I like snappy tight envelopes that allow alot of tweaking.
alien303 will do this, I guess.
