Hello everyone! I have following question - how to make (what is the synthizer) most popular elastic bass, whitch use most fullon composers? See example http://www.axifile.com?3920892
I spend many time in tuning of this one, but i can't to do something. I suppose, that is hardsynth, but whitch? |

From which artist is the sample?
Sounds well tuned. ES1 or trilogy possibly get close.

Off-topic question about Cronox 2:
don't you EQ the shit out of it?
i`ve been messing with this VST for a month or two. I Use Saw wave with the "SYM" (the knob by the side of the osc) turned full left. LP24, Cutoff around 700hz, filter envelope with 114ms decay, 100% Filter track, Envelope Depth around 0.2 (the click)...
It sounds fat, but i see myself using 3 consecutive EQ`s too remove clangy and humming freqs from 250-800 hz...
Needless to say, sometimes i end up detuning or ruining the sound
does it need that much EQ? |

@punkah, depends, what do you want to do?
I didn't do a lot of eq for the example above. check the cubase file.

i checked the audio, you got damn close.
but no cubase here... logic...
i wanted something less crispy than that (lower also, for 140 grooves), fat...
but only wanted to now if people notched it as much as i do.
think i should better EQ it lickle less

Hey get-a-fix I like you bassline much more than the original example
@punkah, it isn't so close actually, if you listen to it on headphones you will hear quite a difference.
Less crispy... that is a wide range of basslines involved in that statement
