Be happy dude, the date of the eclipse is on the exact time we are going to have our 2nd special edition of Naturalize.
We have been throwing parties around here for about 6 months, we have had incredible growth but the city is only in the beggining.
Good to hear that we are gonna have mother nature in our side.
We didn't know about the eclipse, but now we know, so count with us, cause this is the date we are going to have the party... and please all kinds of help are welcome

Any info anyone has on this event will be helpful to the aussies coming down for the eclipse, we are all looking on here constantly for updated information, so pls put anything up, even rumors. I heard it was going to be a 10 day party? |

we welcome anykind of of help. We already got some people from UK and Australia wanting to play, this is great "africa unite"...
For example, gigs, sponsors, help with divulgation on the mushrooms guide, decoration, etc... etc.. etc...

now this is totaly messed up and confused
in the begging of this thread some aussie guys was looking for infos about a possibility of a festival to celebrate this especial cosmic event
very nice...
them shamamix came and told for all of us that he plan to do a festival in somewhere near Natal (where the eclipse will be better to see)

now you kids are going to make a party in the same day ?? who you think that will go to your gig when exists the possibility of a festival being running?? seens very strange
who will choose to see claudinho plays his crappy mp3 songs (not to mention the others kids) when some nice real artists and djs will come to the promissed festival ?

Sorry wanka tanka, but I am in touch with Shamamix, and now he got help, specially cause he doesn't live here, and we do, so we can make things easier to him.
We are getting in touch with some people from earthcore, from Australia, that are willing to help, and some others from England. And the NZ guys who did the last one on southern Africa.
So we would appreciate if you speak to us before writing some that you don't know anything about that may scare people away.
If this event come to happen, its much bigger than two brazilian trance communities, so even your help are welcome.
Any questions write here, any assumptions, specially the negative ones, write me on my personal e-mail please.
And, hey everybody, we are truly trying to make this a really underground and beautiful event. This is mother nature calling...

Hi all.
Thanks Batche for getting involved and trying to set up this special event. I know how much effort it takes to get something like this of the ground .I have chatted to Shamamix he sounds keen.
Me and a couple of mates will also be hiring some boats to follow the eclipse for a while . Straight out from the beach. anyone interested in getting on board let us know .
There are atleast 2 Aussie djs coming who would love to play . Looking forward to any news .Hopefully positive news.

Ok,.. guys i will give u some info's from my side,....First of all,.. the festival is 10000% confirmed, starts on the sunday 26/03, the eclipse is on the wednesday 29/03 and finish on the sunday 02/04.
Second this guy Batche he contact me last week,.. but we just spoke a few words on msn,... and nothing is fixed that we gonna do it something together,.. he asked me if i wanna do it in Pipa,.. but the eclipse unfortanelly don't is total over there, anyway... i am not saying that i will not work on this project with Erico Batche, he seens to be a nice ,.. and Wanka Tanka also,.. so let's stop this shit m8's,.. this is a peace festival,.. and problably we gonna work all together.
but i am completely changing my plans,..and now my idea is to make a very special festival etinic and music festival with a lot of spiritual cerimonies happening during the event and not just trance all the time,... with several diferent kinds of music,.. eletronic and organic.
I felt three things about don't do it just a trance festival,... first not so many people from the Brazilian Trance scene would be able to go, this party is on the end of march a lot of people getting back to school, Andre will do it a massive festival on carnival one month b4 the eclipse, so many people will be without money to travel to Natal, cause it's very far away from the principal cities that has a big trance scene in our country. The people from Solipse festival were interested to do this with us in the begginer,.. but when they heard about the festival in Turkey they gave up,... cause this festival has a massive line-up, with almost all the big full on live acts of the world. So a lot of foreign people will go there.
Second think that i thought,.. it will be a 10 days party,.. so just trance all this days will be too much,.. so we wil have some house, electro, techno, all kinds of trance of course,...and a world music stage with a lot of concerts of regional music from northeast of Brazil,.. and several special music around the world,.. we have some foreing people helping us on this,.. specially form South Africa,...and also the Australians said that would send somebody to here on september,.. but i think this guy didn't arrive yet. But i am feeling people form overe there and NZ very up to.
Third thing,.... this festivalhas a very strong meaning not just cause it's the first Solar Eclipse party in Brazil,.. but this eclipse has a strong astrological meaining,... so i decided that this deserve much more than just a trance festival,.. so i will pass january traveling to some parts of northeast and another parts of Brazil inviting some tribes and comunites to this special meeting. And the idea is to have a lot diferent kinds of etnical people,.. and in the time of the Eclipse we gonna have all together dancing and sharing this special moment, we have a very special trance live completely act perfoming at this time,.. someone that we already have a deal and will be perfect for this moment;)
So that's it m8's,...get prepared for something massive, unforgatable, unique and very very pschedelic on the real meaning of the world. And this will be more something like a gathering of comunites, tribes, lots of freaks and urban people,.. representing that we are all One,...get your stuffs ready and start to save your money for this trancendental 10 days!!!!
Soon i come with more info's,... but i already say in advance,... the line up is not the main thing on this party, it's really important of course,... but we have a lot of other things as much important as well,... and i don't want to spend XXXXXXXXeuros in some atraction, i think this go against of the meaning of this festival,...but we gonna have some really killer music and gr8 energy on there,... that it friends,.. stay in touch and let's do it for the Pacha Mama,... She deserves;)

my advice to the foreign people, it is to come one month b4 and goes to Tranceformation,..a special trance festival that will be in Carnival starts on the 24th of february with a lot of good artists and well produced,.. one month b4 our festival and stay until the solar eclipse party,.. by the way,.. our festival has already a name SUNDANCE, i forgot to say.... i hope u guys liked,... peace and laught to all!!!!

for sure with we work together this event will be amazing..lets share only good vibes and positive actions and talk
@shamamix I totally agree with your points of view about making not only a trance festival but a gathering with several diferent cultures, colours, sounds..the diversity makes us stronger definitely
and the northeast of our country is very much rich in this kind of thing..we have many bands of regional music, street-theater groups, street-artirts that can perform, indians nations that still live around and can perform their music and dance rituals....the list goes and goes..my mind is burning with the possibilities that are imense

P.S: By the way people,.. i wrote wrong about the date that the festival starts,..i said sunday 26,. but the right date is friday 24th of march of 2006,... and this first weekend will be just organic and downbeat music!

Yeah some trance acts would be great. I see damage and some other acts will be in the country at the time of the eclipse. May be they will play. Looking forward to any news .

I've just booked my tickets last week and will be arriving in Rio on the 19/3/2006 and then working my way up north immediately/ Onlu have two weeks in the country before heading of to Peru.
Looking forward to whatever special community is created for this event. |

Hello Brazilians, I'm coming back to your wonderful country for this eclipse festival. Thank you to the organisers putting this together - I can't wait!
I think I will have to fly in to Rio and not sure if there is an easy way to get to Natal without flying.
How long would it take to get there overland? Is there good scenery on the way? |
