Well my friend, but if u want good parties with nice djs and a nice structure, money is needed and we have to pay for it...
Some times it seems to be abusive, but if that's the price, what do u wanna do?! Boicotar? i don't think that thats the best idea to follow...
Let's BOOOOM!

Well, IMO, if the organizers end up making more money than the DJs, then they really made the party for their profit. But then again, with all the time, effort, and money (for DJs, the sound system, decoration, organizing everything) people put into the parties, they should have the security of knowing that they won't end up with a loss.

But sometimes the organizers forget what parties are all about - they're about people dancing, having some fun, listening to good music, and watching the sun rise over some beautiful scenery.

If you don't have that - it's not a party IMO. But if you do have that - then f*** it, those parties are worth more than money.           http://www.myspace.com/Hooloovoo222

hey rastapsi, i agree with u...

the parties are so expensive actually and sometimes we pay for "nothing", like in celebra brasil...
i`ve had to change my camping area because was reserved to alto paraiso ppl...i paid R$90 and i couldn`t camp in a place that i`ve choose (do u remeber this?? uh?!) wasn`t shadow in the dance floor and the water cost R$2...that`s an absurd, i couldn`t stay in the dance floor all time and enjoy the perfect djs i wanna see because was so hot!!!!!!
have a lot of thinks i saw happening
there... that made me so sad.

in my opinion the problem is: the organizers don`t do parties to ppl enjoy, just for money...
oh! ok, 90% for money...

dear marcelinha,

i'm sorry but you paid 90 bucks and got to watch Kox Box live, S-Range live, Anti, Franke DJ set, Stella Nutella, Bansi, Dimitri Nakov...

imo it's worth the money.
Ask Asaf (kaz) how much he wanted to be able to dance near the beach to all these ppl...

the fact that some ppl in the line-up didn't come (and that was Simon and Tristan only, while Dado was not in the line-up and still played) and that the infra-structure was not that good doesn't make for a lousy party...           the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist....

Say anything u want, we must agree that there are really parties done just for the money. Maybe people are thinking on not taking risks, and maybe this people, as good capitalits as they are, forget that risks always exists, and the public will not pay for them.. do a good party, u'll have all back to you... if u do a bad one.. tsc. Charging THIS AMOUNT WE HAVE SEEN can see can just be a signal of insecurity about the party.
But here nobody cares! They can ask for 50 reais, and put there just three or four bad dj's, that people pay!!! And think it's great!
bah!

I think we have to take all the factors involving a party in consideration... of course the organizers need money to pay for the djs, their plane tickets, the place for the party, the structure (bathrooms, food, etc)... I'm sure that costs a lot of money... but I also think parties are made to entertain people, its where they go to have fun... so, in some cases (not all), I'm sure there could be a more reasonable price...
