I guess what I'm getting at is that some of us spend our workweek ignoring the problems of the world and need to be reminded of them on weekends
on the other hand some of us spend the workweek dealing with the problems of the world and need to forget about them on weekends.
Fight the power, feed your head, change the world, but most importantly have fun while doing it!

Shiranui....dude you are at it again man, just chill. Mudpeople didn't say anything that should offend anyone, especially since the man was spouting his opinion which everyone else in this thread has the right too. He didn't step on anyone's toes, did call anyone out for a differing opinion, and he certainly didn't slag on you for anything. So, what's with you man? You tell him to get over himself, as you are the one spouting disdain, and then go right to tell people to have fun doing whatever. So, just let him and everyone else have THEIR opinions without you telling them they suck in so many words.

He's implying that anyone who doesn't like darkpsy is just not "opening their eyes" or whatever...
...and it doesn't matter if that's what he meant or not, because when I read what he said, that's what it clearly says to me.

I tend to just say what I think as soon as I think it, so anything I post is just a thought which popped into my mind and not really something which is well thought out
perhaps it is not in my best interest to continue this mode of action but I've tried to change it and haven't really succeeded, oh well

No, he’s not implying anything. He is just talking about xenophobia in general. About people trashing other people’s ways because those don’t conform to some stereotype of normalcy. Maybe it is about darkpsy or maybe it’s not. Maybe it’s about prejudging somebody based on his interests an tastes. You would know a thing or two about that yourself, wouldn’t you?

I meant being on the receiving end of prejudice. Surely, that's familiar to you.
Anyway, I think his thoughts about darkpsy and his non-conformist rant were not entirely the same thing. Just somewhat related. He could've talked about orthodox religious people opposed to apocryphal scriptures, just as well. Or somebody always voting along the party line. Or somebody reaching for a shotgun every time they see a furry face.
