Okay, im noting speaking about the timbre but the notes. I m reading a book about theory and in one part the author says that whole tone scales are good for acid lines, but dont define what are they...?

and when i type in google the near i get is how too make an acid line with audiorealism bassline, but again doesnt explain, and the other results are about fatty acids lsd and etc...

so can you define what is an acid line?

a line for nose made of lsd? hehe ^^ I guess some squeezing high resonanced bassy sound.Audiorealism bassline,rebirth,phosycon are able to produce that sounds too.303 style for sure.

I still dont get it....if someone can post a example..

the acid line must be the same keys as the bassline?

and x-rayz, the book is the raven spiral guide...he said that whole tone scales are perfect for doing acid lines...

An acid line is a kind of lead you'd commonly hear in acid (house, techno, etc) music. Most of the time this was produced by a 303 or emulating that machine. Audio realism bassline would be perfect for that since it's a 303 emulation. Just listen to the leads in old acid house and techno tracks and you'll know.

on 3:12 after thet revers+crash acid line starts from very low volume and rapidly goes higher and higher also sound changeing cut of frequency and reso and then starts to "scream" acid line is often used in old techno or acid techno, acid trance, goa trance.

some more exampels:

and best synth thet does those leeds is ROLAND TB303
